Future Workshops for Europe Project, Project partners meeting
Baarn, Netherlands, 26 – 29 March 2007
The project partners’ meeting in Baarn was organized by ZOB/Odysee organization with the main objective to assess and further plan the project development. In line with the envisioned activities some of the concrete goals of the meeting were:
- Share the experience of the national Future Creating Workshops organized since the last meeting in July 2006 in Manisa, Turkey;
- Decide on the format of the documentation and the dissemination plan;
- Discuss on the project evaluation form and the project evaluation process;
- Decide on the date, place and content of the last partners meeting.
The program of the meeting was followed by a presentation on the Methods of intercultural learning used in Odyssee and the state of being of Adult Education in Netherlands. Mr. Ates Kutluer reviewed a program focused on the integration process of the minority groups in Netherlands especially social integration of the Turkish women and Mr. Jumbo Klercq presented the development of adult education in Netherlands and the stages of development of Odyssee along this road.
The presentation was followed by a discussion and comparison of the educational systems in different European countries, the problems of the Adult education organizations and the new regulations in this field.
The last partnership meeting will take place in Munich, 28 June – 1st of July 2007.
